Emoji Movie Campaign

King partnered up with Sony to promote The Emoji Movie with Candy Crush Saga. Lucas Petterson and I developed 3D candies for this campaign. Since we were using assets from Sony Animation, we needed higher quality, more realistic candies than what were used in-game. It became a balance of realistic and stylistic choices to keep them feeling true to the game. This was the first time the candies of Candy Crush Saga are seen to this level of detail so it was really important to get them right and we knew this would set a standard going forward with the franchise.

We then worked with Mindbender to create a handful of fun spots that would be used across all digital platforms.
